Hello,
as you probably know, we are trying to remove Python 2 from Debian, and i
noticed python-tqdm has only once r-dep, python-datalad (which in turn has no
rdep).

since you already provide a py3k, can you just drop python-datalad? This would
allow me to drop python-tqdm

thanks,
Sandro
