Hi Melvin, Thanks for reporting this issue.It seems to be caused by osmpbf not being rebuilt when protobuf was updated to 3.6.1.
Rebuilding osmpbf with libprotobuf-java in buster resolves the issue.I'll prepare a new upload to unstable and a stable update to fix this issue.
