Hello, Due to that the patch for polickit-1 in #923420 is not applied no working desktop is possible w/o installing systemd (via libpam-systemd) as pid 1. This effectively excludes usage of other init systems for desktop usage. Please explain your decision on why desktops for other init systems are excluded (even in sid).
