Package: coinor-libipopt-dev Version: 3.11.9-2.1+b2 Severity: serious Justification: causes memory leaks
IPOPT causes memory leaks due to use of not initialized memory with MUMPS >= 5.1.0. The problem affects idyntree, see https://github.com/robotology/idyntree/issues/456 The latest version of ipopt 3.12.11 fixes the problem, so ipopt should be upgraded, see Bug#929265. It would be helpful if the specific patch could be cherry picked for buster, https://github.com/traversaro/Ipopt/commit/170c48dcc591c679a11d0198d6186cad56feddee -- System Information: Debian Release: 10.0 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.19.0-5-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_WARN, TAINT_OOT_MODULE, TAINT_UNSIGNED_MODULE Locale: LANG=en_AU.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_AU.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_AU.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages coinor-libipopt-dev depends on: ii coinor-libipopt1v5 3.11.9-2.1+b2 ii libmumps-seq-dev 5.2.0-1 coinor-libipopt-dev recommends no packages. coinor-libipopt-dev suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
