Beeh, there are lot of things, in particular the sleep patch for texdoc to make it work with xdg-open and compressed documents. If you want I can prepare a set of packages with the changes that hang around (blacklist one file, add recommends, fix texdoc, fix tabu) and sign it, you check the sig, re-sign it and upload.
