Sorry, I initially believed this was an "always-FTBFS bug" but I was wrong. The failure is really random, so to reproduce you will have to try several times. I've put several build logs here: https://people.debian.org/~sanvila/build-logs/python-scrapy/ Please contact me privately and I will try to give you access to a machine where this failure (randomly) happens, so that you can reproduce it as well.
