Hi. Just another person to confirm this bug, it took me some time to track down and then notice it was already reported. I upgraded my mail server to debian 9 and cyrus imapd always stop working after a couple of days due to this. Fortunately my mail server is pretty low traffic, so I'm hoping a /etc/cron.daily/ job to '/etc/init.d/cyrus-imapd restart' will work around it.
