        Wonderful. I don't read mailing list (not enough time), so I
though it's good to have this info in the bug tracking (yes, I did
check it before reporting the bug).

        That's not good. The point of 'stable' is that I can depend on
it, and don't worry about it. If people have to patch themselve the
hole in stable, it totally negates the point of stable.
