The gnump3d bug never affected me ("what is gnump3d?"), but I somehow stumbled upon it and noticed the s-s-d message, which I filed against udev, since it happened a handful of times there, but now reassign to dpkg, #352554 merged with #157305. It seems to be a harmless warning.
I don't know whats up with the debconf bit, I think I change was made to detect if X11 is running or not without dying? See Joeyh's changelog entry, "Add the same insane kind of fork check..." for debconf 1.4.72. I would suggest downgrading to a previous debconf, and running unset DISPLAY to reproduce :) Justin -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
