Are you using lvm? What happens if you only upgrade udev to 240-1? What if you keep udev at 239-15 and upgrade systemd to 240-1? Please provide a verbose debug log with precise error messages. -- Why is it that all of the instruments seeking intelligent life in the universe are pointed away from Earth?
