Thanks a lot for your upload - you did beat me by about one hour. I tested first with Christoph Biedl's/Hilko Bengen's patch https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=887602#17 which segfaults.
At the very moment that my build and the tests with Lars Wendler's patch had successfully ran through your email came in :-)!
So *many thanks* to everybody, reporting the FTBS, coming forward with patches and NMUing!
Me only being the uploader, but Ridrigo having the maintainer hat on, I'd defer defer to Rodrigo in case he has objections, however to me your NMU is fine. Thanks a lot!
