Nicola I had a look at your bug report against initramfs-tools
today. To me this looks rather like a bug in the 4.16 kernel
specific to your setup. But without additional information about
the exact configuration of the system it's hard to tell. Could
you please provide more information about your hardware and the
exact kernel version you were testing? I let the kernel
maintainers decide if they want to reassign the bug to the kernel
package or not. I'm downgrading the severity for now as this does
not seem to affect many systems. Thanks for your report Gaudenz
