As virt-manager 1.5 is now in unstable and testing and builds fine, I think this bug can be closed. I'm unsure why it got reassigned to libvirt and there is unfortunately no reasoning in the bug log. I don't think there is a bug in libvirt which needs fixing. If you agree, please close this report so other RC bug squashers don't waste time on it.
