The last release of gyrus was over 5 years ago. gyrus was orphaned in Debian around the same time. The only upload since then was to remove a dependency that was being removed from Debian. gyrus is one of the last packages in Debian using gconf. Although gconf will still be in the Debian Buster release, its main purpose there is to provide the gconf-to-gsettings migration helper. I intend to remove gyrus from Debian very soon. Please respond very promptly if you agree or object to its removal.
