It was not really meant to offend you, but I definitely am somewhat
surprised to see such bug report from a quite long time Debian
contributor as a packager.
And I do expect any unstable user to keep track of the ongoing library
transition and not be scared about temporary installability issues, and
also be able to debug them to understand whether they really need a bug
report.
