The source package gnome-python-desktop is unmaintained upstream. It
has not had a release since GNOME 3 was released in 2011. Therefore,
the Debian GNOME team has removed it from Debian Testing.
Please remove python-sugar-toolkit's dependency on python-gconf (one of
gnome-python-desktop's binary packages).
The way forward is to port your app to use GObject Introspection
bindings (and gtk3).
For more information on GObject Introspection see [1] and [2].
The replacement for gconf is gsettings which is provided in Debian by
the glib2.0 and gobject-introspection source packages. [3]
If you have any question don't hesitate to ask.
