Looks like a python 3.7 incompatibility I updated to cloudpickle 0.5.6 and it seems to work. (The internal unittests pass, though though autopkgtests are having trouble because of a debian mirror consistency problem) I pushed a new source release and will see how the autobuilders handle it. Diane
