Bug#362019: gnomesword crashes after starting the gui, glibc error

Package: gnomesword
Version: 2.1.5-1.1
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

When I try to run gnomesword(gnomesword2 on the commandline), it
launches the program and then crashes with the message "*** glibc
detected *** double free or corruption (out): 0x08834860 ***".
It works if I declare G_SLICE=always-malloc, like this:
G_SLICE=always-malloc gnomesword2

I consider this a grave error, as it renders the whole program unusable,
at least for me.
