Package: kdump-tools Version: 1:1.6.4-1 Followup-For: Bug #904524 A quick test here shows that calling the kernel postinst script will fail because there is no kernel installed in a chroot. Assuming you used a chroot for piuparts.
One solution here would be to not fail when the kernel is not found. Other failures might happen when calling kdump-config as well, so we will have to test those cases as well. Cascardo.
