You are right, upstream ships two different versions of imaplib2 (with different version numbers), one for Python 2 and one for Python 3. The problem here is that the python3-imaplib2 package wrongly ships the Python 2 version. I will fix that with the next upload. Thanks for reporting this! -- Ilias
