This is bug #361024 in libstdc++6 4.1.0. You should be able to find various workarounds suggested in that bug log; the most reliable is probably to upgrade your system to use a 2.6 kernel instead of 2.4.27. 2.4.27 is almost certainly not going to be supported in etch anyway, so the sooner we get feedback from users about 2.6 not working for them, the better... -- Steve Langasek Give me a lever long enough and a Free OS Debian Developer to set it on, and I can move the world.
