Package: db2
Version: testing/unstable
Severity: serious
libdb2++ is only used by one package ('animals', which is orphaned, doesn't
build, and is unimportant anyway). It hasn't undergone the c102 conversion
to the new C++ ABI.
db2 is old enough that it probably belongs in oldlibs anyway.
It looks as if the best results will occur if libdb2++ is dropped from
testing/unstable, and no longer built, rather than wasting time converting it
to c102 for the benefit of nobody. And if it's dropped, libdb2++-dev should
be too.

db2 has been removed from the Debian archive because it's old and
buggy. Please use db4.3 or higher.
