I strongly recommend you consider reverting whatever Debian Multimedia
repo you use and go back to using regular Debian packages. The current
version of babl in Testing is
0.1.42-1 (instead of 1:0.1.28-dmo1). The babl_process_rows symbol was
added in 0.1.40 according to our .symbols file.

I am closing this bug because this is an issue with a third party
repository and is not a Debian bug.
