Package: firefox Version: 1.5.dfsg+1.5.0.1-3 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable
I have a weird problem with firefox 1.0.7/1.5 for some time now. It makes the program totally unusable for me at the moment. The problem: Alphabetic/numeric keyboard entries are not arriving in firefox anymore. Sometimes a couple of keystrokes will get trough after the start of the program? So, I can not enter locations or some keywords into the google search area. The keyboard is working fine in all other apps, for instance in a konsole. The mouse is working to some extent. I can cut and paste an address in the location area. After that the arrow keys and delete key appear to be working as well then. Tabs and/or links can be clicked sometimes. The circle of dots is not rotating always.
