Package: opensmtpd Version: 6.0.3p1-1 Severity: serious "smtpctl stop" is not supported by upstream anymore. This affects debian/opensmtpd.service. opensmtpd doesn't go away, and the restart fails (e.g. at a package upgrade). Serious problem.
The proper way to stop a daemon on Unix is to send it a SIGTERM. Regards Harri
