Thank you for taking the time to file this bug. I think the tests are flaky and I may have needed to retry some of those builds on Ubuntu. It's a bit easier for an Ubuntu Developer to retry builds than for a Debian Developer to do it in Debian. I don't really care that much about this package and I intend to do another upload where I just ignore test failures. (Before this upload, the tests weren't even being run.) Thanks, Jeremy Bicha
