If you BCC'ed the bug or posted this information some other way, just ignore me. ;) Anyway, I doubt this is related to the resource. Google Talk supports resources just fine. Gaim 1.5.0 doesn't do SRV lookups, if I recall correctly. So, that's why Google's instructions tell you to set a server. Under "Show more options", there is a box for "Connect server".
