Sorry I didn't think to look for the duplicate bug reports yesterday. I can confirm that: - Version 3.16.51-2 is able to boot if 'numa=off' is specified. - Version 3.16.51-3~a.test (see https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=884069#66) fixes the issue.
