Package: qbittorrent
Followup-For: Bug #880229

I am using qbittorrent 3.3.15, I am having /tmp in ram (tmpfs) and what you
mention does not happen. I also have all my browsers' caches inside /tmp as
well (/tmp/cache) and I do keep at least one browser open all the time.

More specifically. This is what i have in my fstab for /tmp

tmpfs /tmp tmpfs defaults 0 0

This is what df -h reports for when downloading a 1GB torrent

- at the beggining of the download
tmpfs 2.0G 29M 2.0G 2% /tmp

- at ~25% of the download
tmpfs 2.0G 37M 1.9G 2% /tmp

- at ~50% of the download
tmpfs 2.0G 38M 1.9G 2% /tmp

- at ~100% of the download
tmpfs 2.0G 58M 1.9G 3% /tmp

Litterally NO difference at all, because all that space is allocated by
/tmp/cache

$ du -h /tmp/cache/
4.0K /tmp/cache/opera/Media Cache/index-dir
88K /tmp/cache/opera/Media Cache
40K /tmp/cache/opera/Cache/index-dir
58M /tmp/cache/opera/Cache
58M /tmp/cache/opera
58M /tmp/cache/

All qbittorrent writes in /tmp is an empty folder (/tmp/.qBittorrent) and 2
zero-sized files in /tmp named qtsingleapp-qBitto-something, nothing more.

p.s. Do you really have that problem in 3.3.7 or you just... assume it will be
a problem for someone who has /tmp in ram? Because many other executables write
in /tmp regularly, e.g. systemd, and not a single one has caused problems to
others due to low space. I have /tmp in ram for the last 6-7 years.
