I installed network-manager and my system (dell r710 server) crashed immediately, tried to reboot, failed and tried to reboot, this cycle went on indefinitely * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)? Removed the package with apt-get remove network-manager in recovery mode * What was the outcome of this action?
