Not sure what glib-mkenums is supposed to do about this then. It's the package/build environment not using a UTF-8 locale and Python 3 being picky about that. Making glib-mkenums forcefully set a specific locale doesn't look like a solution to me. -- Why is it that all of the instruments seeking intelligent life in the universe are pointed away from Earth?
