Let's close this bug once there's a new upstream release that fixes https://labs.riseup.net/code/issues/12696, so Tails Installer migrates to testing (and then Ulrike can upload it to stretch-backports, so that the Tails installation doc for Debian users is put back into working shape). Rationale: I'd rather not expose users to that regression introduced in 4.4.16. Then, by the end of the year, or early in 2018, I'm hopeful we will have a long-term plan wrt. the future of Tails' on-disk format and installation methods, and hence wrt. the future of this package: this will allow us to determine how suitable this package is for Buster.
