Package: remmina
Version: 1.1.2-4
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable
Dear Maintainer,
Package remmina has disappeared from the stretch repository. This can be seen
for example here:
https://packages.debian.org/search?keywords=remmina
where remmina shows both in jessie and sid, but not stretch.
This can also be verified by executing:
apt-get install remmina
which produces output
Reading package lists... Done

Reading state information... Done
E: Unable to locate package remmina

It is worth noting that package remmina used to be present in the stretch
repository until recently and installed and worked as expected. For your
reference, the system information below is from a machine running stretch where
I installed remmina from the stretch repo before it disappeared. remmina works
just fine in that machine which otherwise has an up to date version of stretch.
Thank you. Best regards,
Jorge Moraleda

Hi Jorge,
(Dislaimer: *not* the maintainer here, nor a Release team member, but
i think can give enough information regarding this):

Unfortunately that's true. remmina will not be included in the stretch
release. The reason is outlined at
https://tracker.debian.org/news/846201
and https://bus.debian.org/863302
so it has been removed for strech.

Salvatore
