unfortunately the same testing as yesterday gave me a really different output, the table after deleting the .config/cqrlog directory aren't created anymore, the package breaks with a sql exception, so I'm leaving the package and this bug open without trying to fix it anymore (neither cherrypicking patches, nor updating to 2.0.5 or using the mariadb compat library solved the issue) somewhat having a libmysqlclient.so symlink helped, but at the end the sql exception has been thrown by the program. I don't think the package as-is is suitable for Stretch, if you have some better idea, please share it or downgrade the bug severity, otherwise the package will be sadly removed cheers, Gianfranco
