Hi,
during a test with piuparts I noticed your package ships (or creates)
a broken symlink.

../../../fonts/truetype/lato/Lato-RegularItalic.ttf
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
The fonts-lato package ships
/usr/share/fonts/truetype/lato/Lato-Italic.ttf
^^^^^^^^^^^
instead.
