Package: synaptic
Version: 0.84.2
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable
Dear Maintainer,
The following error is shown, once it's OK'd, Synaptic closes.
E: The value 'testing-proposed-updates' is invalid for APT::Default-Release as
such a release is not available in the sources
E: _cache->open() failed, please report.
That is a source that Synaptic picked itself, not me - and damned if I can find
where this is configured on my system, in order to delete the offending line in
order to relaunch/use Synaptic Package Manager. This app needs some love, see
previous bug filed (not as serious as this one, but a usability bug).
