Ciao Emanuele, I'm sorry but I can't do anything for this bugreport but wait. I already contacted Ian (the upstream author of formencode) to clear some license issues which prevented me to upload the package to the archive, but he hasn't had enough time to upload a modified package on his website. All I can do is to wait for such a release.
