Sorry, I'm a bit puzzled. The only module with such error is sasl_dovecot that AFAICT is not part of the debian package. Anyway, I was wrong saying that the incriminated line is fine in 5.1 but not in 5.2. It is wrong in 5.1 too. Could you try the fix I propose? I've tried, and the socket.unix module loads fine here.
