I have successfully built the latest alpha release of 2.1.0 which seems to work absolutely fine on unstable/testing systems. I would be happy to upload my work to the collab-maint git repository if you (Andreas) would like me to, and I can NMU it to unstable. As this is a grave bug, I propose uploading an NMU with a working version in about a week unless you request me not to. Best wishes, Julian
