Unfortunately I noticed too late that you changed B-D on libssl1.0-dev so despite the effort to get it to work with 1.1 it will remain with 1.0 for the release. If you get bored, you might want to think about converting the rules file over to minimal debhelper with overrides. This should shrink the size of the rules file and bring autoreconv. That in turn would make the copy of config.guess & .sub obsolete. However you would need to redo the patches to patch configure.ac instead the configure file. Sebastian
