Hi,
I'm an upstream maintainer on Pillow. We're going to be merging this
patch shortly. I'm trying to reproduce the bug on our testing
infrastructure (travis), but it's not cooperating.
Testing has access to a 64bit vm, where I can run 32 bit docker images.
But I can't get it to trigger in anything other than a 32bit vm on
Debian. An i386 stretch docker image doesn't do it. (oddly enough,
either Ubuntu doesn't trigger this or I'm not getting the correct
version to do it)
Do you know why we're getting the tk interpreter loaded over 0x80000000,
and how I could force this in the tests?
Thanks,
eric

Hello Matthias,
I think introducing a new major version of pillow would not be a very
good idea shortly before hard freeze, especially as a small patch would
solve this issue, see attachment.
Kind regards,
