Package: trafficserver Version: 7.0.0-2 Severity: serious User: debian...@lists.debian.org Usertags: piuparts Control: affects -1 + trafficserver-experimental-plugins
Hi, during a test with piuparts I noticed your package fails to upgrade from 'jessie-backports'. It installed fine in 'jessie-backports', then the upgrade to 'stretch' fails because it tries to overwrite other packages files without declaring a Breaks+Replaces relation. See policy 7.6 at https://www.debian.org/doc/debian-policy/ch-relationships.html#s-replaces >From the attached log (scroll to the bottom...): Preparing to unpack .../trafficserver_7.0.0-2_amd64.deb ... Running in chroot, ignoring request. invoke-rc.d: policy-rc.d denied execution of stop. Unpacking trafficserver (7.0.0-2) over (6.2.0-1~bpo8+1) ... dpkg: error processing archive /var/cache/apt/archives/trafficserver_7.0.0-2_amd64.deb (--unpack): trying to overwrite '/usr/lib/trafficserver/modules/authproxy.so', which is also in package trafficserver-experimental-plugins 6.2.0-1~bpo8+1 dpkg-deb: error: subprocess paste was killed by signal (Broken pipe) Running in chroot, ignoring request. invoke-rc.d: policy-rc.d denied execution of start. cheers, Andreas
