The reason it fails for me (during normal build, I can run it successfully manually), is that I'm firewalling off everything except localhost. In the original case the failure reason seems to be 2 IP addresses for the host in the virtual machine. It seems to me that this test is too naïve for real world situations, as we've already discovered two failure modes, and there are probable more. Therefore I suggest we skip this test (or mark it as TODO).
