Hello! Apparently readline has deprecated CPPFunction and in libedit (which the debian package is built against) it has recently been removed. In recent editline the newer rl_completion_func_t type is defined so simply dropping the typedef should fix the issue. Seems like this issue has already been fixed upstream... see forwarded above.
