Can you explain how ide-generic was loaded by 0.084-3? Because no udev package ever installed ide.agent in the initramfs, and AFAIK it's the only component which can load it. The differences between 0.084-3 and 0.084-4 are small enough that it should be very easy to see that there are no related changes.
