i tried on my system and on a virtual machine and they both work fine, so it's possible it's something specific to your machine that makes lshw unhappy. have you tried multiple times and the all end up in your machine being unresponsive? did you dist-upgraded your machine recently? if not, could you try to upgrade it and retry? thanks
