This reminded me of this bug in SFML which fixes a lot of glitches: https://github.com/SFML/SFML/pull/1138 Sure enough, applying that fixes extremetuxracer. SFML is planning a new release very soon (in fact I'm probably responsible for relaying it a few days). Hopefully this will be fixed fairly soon.
