You can ignore this message - both messages are misleading warnings and
can be ignored - i try to reproduce the crash - it should not happend
and is not happend with my former tests. A possible solution might be to
take libfm-qt3 from sid but that should not neededâ„¢ - anyways, thanks
for the report

Hi,

Do you suppose that my slightly odd system configuration could be at fault? I do not have any of the regular desktop environment metapackages installed but am, instead, using lxqt components along with the supporting packages for gtk applications. My DM is lightdm, and I'm using the lightdm-gtk-greeter for login. (My understanding is that we don't yet have a qt version of the greeter available in the repos.)

Please let me know if there's anything I might do from a testing standpoint. I might try grabbing libfm-qt3 from sid to see if that makes a difference, but I'm in the midst of a move from one home to another, so time and mental resources are a little taxed at the moment.

I do like pcmanfm-qt. Like the rest of the lxqt stuff it's very fast and responsive. It has required me to adjust some habits. I had figured out how to use thunar in the Xfce desktop environment without ever touching the mouse, and I don't seem able to do that with pcmanfm. Then again, I haven't had a lot of time to explore it.

Thanks for the information and your suggestion.

JP
