By output I am referring to the original gedit bug https://bugzilla.gnome.org/770100 where the output differs when built with and without parallel. Minor differences in the build environment that lead to different binary packages seems to me to be a much closer fit to the reproducible builds project to me than reporting every new amd64 FTBFS.
