Package: botch
Version: 0.17-3
Severity: serious
Justification: fails to build from source (but built successfully in the past)
Hi,
after libfreetype6 updated from version 2.6-2 to 2.6.1-0.1, the png
rendering done by dot during the test suite have their text rendered a
few pixel differently. This makes the test suite fail.
Maybe instead of rendering a png which might fail every update of
freetype or be different when a new font gets installed, an svg should
be generated instead.
On the other hand, graphviz puts its version in the generated svg so
that has to be removed to be reproducible across different graphviz
versions.
Thanks!
cheers, josch
